My name is Elodie, and I’ve dedicated my life to education in all its forms — as a languages teacher, Head of Languages at Wimbledon College, UK, Senior Lecturer training future teachers in London, and later as a teacher and Lead of Mindfulness in a prestigious international school in Mallorca.
These roles shaped my belief that learning should be human, creative and supportive of the whole person.
When I moved to Mallorca as an expat, I discovered just how vital community is.
Belonging doesn’t happen by accident — it’s created through shared experiences, meaningful connections and spaces where people feel seen and supported.
The Tramuntana Academy grew from that need, not just for myself but for the many families searching for the same sense of grounding and connection.
This Academy is a collaboration from the heart: my husband designed the logo, a close friend gifted us the name, and the project was shaped by conversations with families from all walks of life.
It embodies everything I value — kindness, communication, creativity and emotional wellbeing.
At The Tramuntana Academy, academics, wellbeing and the arts are woven together with intention. I believe children and adults learn best when they feel safe, inspired and balanced — when language learning includes real interaction, when creativity has space to flourish, and when wellbeing is part of everyday life.
My hope is that this becomes not just a place to study, but a place to belong. A space where learners of all ages can grow confidently, connect deeply and find joy in the process of learning.
I look forward to welcoming you here.

Getting outdoors is key. Laughing is essential, and being part of a community makes all the difference.
A key Academy ethos is that the three pillars intertwine. A student enrolled in academics can also join wellness or creative arts sessions — for example, an A-level learner might begin the morning with yoga and end with salsa in the evening, supporting mental health, balance and confidence.
Languages are vital to Tramuntana Academy and we will offer language immersions and classes in English, Spanish, French, German and Polish.
Our distinctive logo symbolises continual growth in all that we do.
